This time card of the by-then-nameless remnant of the once proud Los Angeles Limited is one more timetable in the Union Pacific 1957 Summer Tours series, although "just barely". The "ZLV" tour used the route of this train to travel from Las Vegas to Lund, UT to catch their motor tours of Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon National Parks. It appears that a special movement was used; the tour itinerary shows the ZLV group departing Las Vegas at 6:45 a.m., 35 minutes ahead of this train, and arriving at Lund at 12:45 p.m., 30 minutes ahead of this train. However, I can't rule out the possibility of a schedule change between the June 1 effective date of this timetable and the date when the tour brouchure went to press several months earlier. The detailed description in the brochure mentions that the "ZLV" group would have their breakfast on the train upon leaving Las Vegas; while train number 6 was adequately equipped for this it may be that Union Pacific took advantage of a special movement to return some of the diners and lounges of the outbound special train back in the direction of Chicago.
