Another timetable from the Union Pacific 1957 Summer Tours series; the seasonal Yellowstone Special was a linchpin of the "YT", "YRG" and "YTZ" tours, naturally enough. It was also, at least as of this time period, joined at the hip with the year-round Butte Special, so I have included both trains in this timetable.
The detailed itineraries for the "YT" and "YRG" packages show the tours departing Ogden at 8:55 p.m., five minutes after the departure of No. 35 in this timetable. There are a couple of possible reasons for this; there may have been a minor schedule change in the months after the tour brochure booklet went to press or the U. P. may have operated these tours as a second section following the scheduled train. The arrival times in West Yellowstone and Victor coincide exactly with the published timetable, so it appears that the trains were consolidated at some point along the way.
