There seems to be no limit to the number of "Eagles" Missouri Pacific could concoct in the 1950s. In addition to the Texas Eagles (elsewhere on Track 9), the Missouri River Eagle (Track 4), the Colorado Eagle (Track 8), the Aztec Eagle (Track 10) and this train there were also the Delta Eagle (connecting trains 334 and 335 on this page) and the Valley Eagle (connecting service from Houston to Brownsville, shown on the Texas Eagle page).
