Another entry in the Union Pacific 1957 Summer Tours series. The San Joaquin Daylight was used by the "BC" (Bargain California) tour between Los Angeles and San Francisco, with a two-night stopover at Merced for touring Yosemite National Park. The tour group overnighted at Camp Curry in Yosemite Valley, and at the Hotel Stewart in San Francisco for two nights before heading back to Chicago aboard the City of San Francisco.
