A look at the Twentieth Century Limited at the height of the heavyweight era, while it still operated service to and from Boston via a split at Albany. Competition from air travel was virtually nonexistent at this point, but that would soon change...in a little more than a decade, streamlining and the elimination of the Boston shuffle would trim a full four hours off the Century's time.
